Same here. It is terribly annoying after ten miles or so.

Some people are so narrow-minded it hurts. Ride a fucking bike.

Narrow minded just means people don't agree with you. Impeding traffic is not a sport.

I quit riding a bike the day I got my drivers license!

Texas and bikes do not go well together. Go to Colorado, they have bike lanes on roads, and if you drive your car in one, big ticket!

My dad rode a road bike for years. I almost lost him when I was about 10 I think. He was riding and someone hit him. His head collided with the curb (yes, he was wearing a helmet) It cause enough trauma to his brain for him to lose his sense of smell and taste. I can understand the frustration when on a two lane road, especially if it has an improved shoulder. However, if you are on a multi lane street, maybe you, as the driver of the automobile, should pay more attention to your surroundings. I bet those of you whining about a cyclist being in your lane are the same people who don't pay attention to the signs saying that you are in a turn only lane, or that the lane ends in 2000ft for road construction and expect everyone else who did heed the warning to get out of your way so you don't hit those cones/barriers at 60-70mph... Be more aware of your surroundings and you will have plenty of time to get over in most cases and then it is a non issue.

No, but thanks for spreading your latent cager hostility so aimlessly.
