Tell her to be thankful for what she has and not to be jealous of what her sister now has. That grass seems greener on the other side a lot of times, but rarely is it really more green. She should feel much better about the fact the has a career and is working and EARNING her living instead of being like the sister who is living off the government and sucking up more of our tax dollars. Does it suck? Of course. Is it fair? Probably not. Should she really be that jealous and worried about what the failure sister is doing or what she is getting? Absolutely not.

Take this from someone who knows....... If the will is written and legal then do not fight it. You will waste time and money. When my dad and grandmother died neither had wills. Step mother locked me out of the house that was in my name. Because she was living there married to my dad when he past, she got a life estate and gets to live there till she dies or abandons the house. She only has to pay the taxes. I have to cover insurance. It took 4 years to get the probate done and thousands of dollars of which I still owe her some. It just isn't worth it.

When my grandmother died years ago land money and houses was left to me, brother , sister , and a couple cousins.

I signed all my Shit away to them the day of the reading. They fought over it all. Sold it ALL!!! Now neither of them have Shit to show for it.

My brother Is living in my office. Sister is on welfare and jobless half the time. Same with cousins. All still the loosers they were before the inheritance .

Now we don't even communicate with that side of the family anymore because of it.

My GF has to work for everything she has while her parents hand shit to her sister all of the time. They feel like they shouldn't just "reject" her. It pisses me off, but she already has started receiving what has been coming her way for a long time.
