I know what you mean by it throwing off your equilibrium, I didn't want to do anything but lay down. And putting the car back together and backing it back into the garage was a woosy task.

I believe it was a 396 car, and he's a doofus for selling it. He'll never do better.

Otitis externa...if you have diabetes it will be worse. See a doctor.

May be worth a trip to the doctor. They may be able to hook you up with the numbing drops that are prescribed with severe ear infections.

We're babies around here when it comes to ear pain.

Been there, done that. It's intense. I would say drink through it, but the amount of alcohol that requires will certainly have your job at risk tomorrow.

Good luck. It will get better eventually.

It's not the gas dude, it's that coupe breaking the sound barrier!

                    God bless!

I was working on a budies car when I was about 16 letting all the beeds out of the converter because we thought it would add power . If you have ever seen them they look like white ceramic bb's and there are hundreds of them in there . I had the car running for about 30 minutes while knocking on the converter with a hammer to knock them all loose . Darwin got me and one of those white hot little fuckers came shooting out as I was looking the other way and went right in my ear . I could hear it sizzling in the bottom of my ear canal and my budy was like why the fuck are you smashing your head against the driveway . After about the fifth hit to the pavement it came out but I know how much that shit can hurt . Doctor said it was scared but would heal . Go have them take a look , it can't hurt .

Seems like anyone who has ever changed one of those the first time has done it. I managed to hear the warnings before I ever had to do it and managed to get it done with minimal mess.
