I'm surprised we haven't seen more than just Arizona making the headlines with these issues. My cousin is on the Midland PD. I need to give him a ring and see what the hell is going on.

I know you're not being serious, but still feel obligated to mention that this is not a tank.

The FBI has confirmed to NewsWest 9 that the man behind the threats to West Texas law enforcement has been arrested.

ICE Agents tells NewsWest 9 Jacob Esparza also known as "El Diablo" was arrested on Monday by Homeland Security Agents in Pecos for using the Internet to make threats against law enforcement.

As you'll recall, the threats were posted on the discussion forum "Topix."

Those threats talked about murder, revenge and kidnapping.

Esparza also talked about targeting not only the Midland Police and Sheriff's Office but also the Fort Stockton Police Department and their families.

If convicted, Esparza could be sentenced to 20 years behind bars.

NewsWest 9 will be following this story throughout the day.

Stay tuned to NewsWest 9 and NewsWest9.com for the very latest.

Did someone forget to tell him that American popo don't mind shooting you if they have a reason? That would have been better I think.
