Wtf is up with skinny jeans?

Went to get some jeans the other day and they didn't have my usual cut in stock. In fact, half the store was stocked with skinny jeans. Now I'll admit that I'm not on the cutting edge of fasion, but I can't in my right mind wear a pair of skinny jeans around the boys. Can a guy just get some regular jeans without making a fashion statement? Rant off...

I went to a few stores in the mall and left empty handed. I stopped at Kohls on the way home to try my luck for some regular levis and found nothing but skinny jeans there too.

I used to wear Silver Tabs that were extremely baggy. I attribute skinny jeans to LEAN manufacturing and attempts to cut costs while jacking prices skyward.

All I'll wear is lucky jeans, but not those gay as fuck skinny ones. I wear a 29x32 and have trouble finding stuff my size though. I'll snug into 30's in ae and levis brand.
