That is because the government will go either go bankrupt or devalue the currency to the point that paying for entitlements is sustainable. There's a screaming aura of hypocrisy when one mouths off and renounces this country only to eventually return to use the resources which are not as widely available (if at all) from a different country. It is far worse than the lefty la la's that kept Obama in office. The very people he is complaining about.

Not true at all, China owns about $1.3T of the $16T outstanding. The biggest holder at $5T is the US Federal Reserve. But is doesn't matter, a default would still be a default. If there is just a hint that we can't service the debt the rates will go through the roof and that is when the shit hits the fan. That can happen literally overnight, as it is a crisis of confidence.

Of course, we could do like the liberal idiots and just ignore it or insist that there is nothing to worry about. Paulf Krugman the NY Times idiot had an opinion column recently where he said "it hasn't happened yet so it isn't going to happen". What a fucking moron.

I totally understand though, Doc. I have been feeling this way for quite a while. Although isntead of finding better places to work, I am just going to retire.

Not now. I ain't bringing any kids into this shythole of a planet. Now, I just want to get away and live in a hut on the beach and go surfing every morning, fishing in the afternoon, and drinking/partying at night.

I'm done with this rat race, workin 60hrs/week to give it way to people who won't do it for themselves. Time to be a beach bum and leave everyone else to fend for themselves.
