Looks like the plane hit the SUV while it was driving..

During landing - the pilot is focused down the runway - looking for things on the runway - looking at the approach - judging flare distance. It's very possible the pilot never saw the SUV. At the same time - the pilot was probably doing a shortfield landing given the low approach; however, the pilot should have been aiming for a touchdown near the 1000ft mark - this insures proper clearence for 50ft obsticles on the final approach leg. The driver of the SUV should have been more aware of his surrondings. Driver saftey teaches drivers to always be on the look out - and if the drive knew he was near an airport he should have been looking for planes, and he would have saw that plane.

I fault the pilot for comining in too low, I fault the driver for not looking around, and I fault the airport for not having proper signage.

I fault the car, I have a hanger out there and drive across that road every time I'm there and by that vid they didn't even look as if they slowed down much less stopped.

You can blame signs, road location, pilot and driver all you want but had they taken the time to stop and look as they were clearly driving around a run way that they stated they had been to many times before this could have been prevented.
