People can't merge ANYWHERE not just 35. I ride a motorcycle pretty much daily unless I just don't leave the house and I see the shitist drivers you can ever imagine. People try to kill me on a daily basis so yeah I see what you are talking about pretty much everywhere I go.

Well, obviously. I just live 100' from 35 and merge onto it several times a day. I swear people will try to merge at 30MPH. It's a fucking safety hazard is what it is.

To Merge: Match the speed of the traffic, and drift in seamlessly into the right lane without inhibiting traffic.
People try to leave the entrance ramp at 40 MPH. I have no problem crossing that solid white line with the diesel peddle mashed. Sometimes it forces them in the shoulder because they cant merge when I'm there. I also leave them in a cloud of dinosaur bones.
I'm not going to be rearended because you cannot properly merge.

Now, I always "try" to move over to the other lane when someone is getting ready to merge in, but that isn't always possible due to the semi sitting there. But these people have either never been taught a bare minimum standard of driving or they have a malfunctioning brain.

These people also never bother to look at the traffic before they even hit the ramp. It makes it easier for a person to target the spot they want to merge into and then accelerate into it.

It doesn't help matters that there are multiple on ramps for 35E that are way too short. The one, northbound in Denton, next to Golden Triangle Mall is a very good example.

I stopped in a line of traffic on 183 right before the split to 114 and some dude in a Chevy van rear ended me doing 50mph. Truck is pretty bad but its with shaggin wagon right now, so we'll see if they total it. Good thing is that I'm not at fault and the dude was driving a company vehicle.

My biggest issue is people viewing yield signs as stop signs. You should see the looks when I blast passed them into the open lane they're yielding too. Yes, it's possible to pass a yield sign without hitting the brakes. A quick glance over the left shoulder is all that's necessary. It seems as if peoples neck is somehow connected with the brake peddle.
