To Merge: Match the speed of the traffic, and drift in seamlessly into the right lane without inhibiting traffic.
People try to leave the entrance ramp at 40 MPH. I have no problem crossing that solid white line with the diesel peddle mashed. Sometimes it forces them in the shoulder because they cant merge when I'm there. I also leave them in a cloud of dinosaur bones.
I'm not going to be rearended because you cannot properly merge.

I stopped riding sportbikes and I have actually thought of moving just to get away from that shit.

The folks that love to use their brakes on the highway........while merging or just simply moving along in traffic. Everyone should be required to drive both a standard shift car, and a motorcycle for 90 days. They wouldn't want to use their brake more than their gas on the freeway. I guess it's just a game I play, and ironically it's something a driver instructor told me nearly 20 years ago. It seems most drivers today are totally clueless and in need of basic instruction.

It doesn't help matters that there are multiple on ramps for 35E that are way too short. The one, northbound in Denton, next to Golden Triangle Mall is a very good example.

north bound at 380 is really short.
