Oh yes. Once it's set up there is going to be a bash. Might wait until the new year. Everyone gets super busy starting right about now.

They don't, but the government wants housing to be "affordable". Then they add ridiculous guidelines so that few qualify for the rates, but they get to say they made rates low and then blame the lenders for not making the loans.

Lol, so perfectly inefficient it could only come from our government. Oddly enough the biggest issue I had this time was just getting my stupid ass company to confirm that I work for it. Took over 20 phone calls/emails from 8am until the finance company got the confirmation at 4:45pm on Monday. I was seeing red.

Yea, fortunately my asst that does my pre funding Verification of employments is patient. HR departments are full of self important bitches usually. I just tell them that they are the roadblock in funding my borrowers loan and that i will let the borrower know. they usually change their tune.

Congrats on the house. On one hand I hope you and your new neighbors get along but then the other knows that they make good thread starters.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

My HR lady literally told me that she had the forms filled out, but probably wouldn't have time to fax them that day so it would be Tuesday. Because putting a sheet of paper in a machine and punching ten numbers is such a herculean task and all. I started to lose my temper. Ten minutes later the finance co cheerily called me and said we were a go. Lol

The people on my west side are nice, but.. Ahem.. Interesting. I hope I don't have any issues with them. I'm quiet and I keep to myself aside from parties here and there. Hopefully they aren't Nazis since my covered back patio is right next to the fence on their side of the property.

That's always a fun part. I'm surprised your company doesn't use some type of automated system with as many employees as I imagine they have.

The guidelines truly aren't that different than they were several years ago before the meltdown - there are just no exceptions any more and people have yet to fully understand what that means as far as documentation. As long as you have some semblance of personal record keeping, aren't doing anything fishy, and are working with someone who knows what they are doing it can still be a realtively painless process.

They do have an automated system. Which wasn't working properly. So I got a guy with the automated system company finally after trying to get through their menus(hitting 0 wouldn't work)and the only thing he was capable of doing was ignoring what I was telling him and reading from a script. Monday I was Superfly TNT, The Guns of the Navarone.

                              Congrats!

                              Let's see it!

Ronald Reagan:"Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

Homer: "Bart...there's 2 things I know about women. Never give them nicknames like "jumbo" or "boxcar" and always keep receipts...it makes you look like a business man."

we use theworknumber.com (or something close) to do ours and call as a backup. Theworknumber kicks ass. A bitchy HR person that wont simply answer "is XXXXX still employed with your company?" verbally....not so much.
