In the buying process myself, but for the first time.

Stress level is through the roof for me right now.
It's been a rough couple of months. Glad it's over.

I was going to wait until early next year, but you just can't beat the rates right now. I don't see them getting any lower.

Yeah, it really is. It's actually pretty competitive out there for decent properties. I lost the first one I bid on, and I was pissed. It was really badass. This one is in a MUCH better location for me and a slightly nicer neighborhood though, so it worked out. Even a little cheaper than the first one.

Anyone want to help me move tomorrow night?

Bonus if this becomes a house of ill repute.

It's Eric's house. It will be of ill repute by association.

                          Hey!

Would it be sacrilege or a brilliant homage to paint a Twister Board on the living room floor?

Twister came about in 1966, so it would technically be period accurate.

Congrats, man! There's a lot of people making arguments that renting is better than owning right now, but I love being a homeowner. I'll really love it when I no longer have a mortgage.

Just curious... what rate did you get?

Did a 15 year and got 3.15%. I can't complain at all! My first mortgage in 2000 was 8.65% IIRC!
