Find a factory disc setup from a Denali, or an older Sierra.

Damn I'm just used to buying local never experienced this much wait time from any aftermarket place.

Yeah looks like we might need to go that route unfortunately the customer was set on going with a nicer aftermarket set up.

The only thing I will say about the older factory setup is they had problems with the E-brake setup. I heard that was part of the reason they stopped doing them, not sure how much truth there is to that.

So holding a company to the timeline they provided is being spoiled?

It is called setting an expectation. If you are not sure if that expectation don't fucking set one. If you are, then you better be damned well sure it is met.

Baer makes a conversion kit, I already talked to them about it to go with my front upgrade.

Yeah i remember that the 01's had problems and then the 02 and up supposedly got an upgrade but were just as crappy.

You're correct i called them yesterday when i saw that kit and left a message but hadn't called me back. Called this morning they said they can more than likely have this kit assembled in 2-3 days and do overnight shipping. He's going to call me back to make sure the timeline he set is good and we'll go from there

It's not always the company's fault that the ship date has to be pushed back. I'm pretty sure that they do not manufacture from raw material every component that goes into that kit, so most likely it is a supplier issue. Even if it is something they manufacture in house it could be that a supplier has failed to deliver the raw material, or that the material delivered was not up to standards.
A lot can happen that can cause the standard lead time to change, but one thing that will not improve it are people throwing tantrums.

Well just wanted to update this thread
I ended up calling Baer last Friday and cannot speak highly enough of them. Their CS rep went above and beyond just like one should. Checked on availability instead of just taking the order. Got me the specs for the shipping size and weight since i was thinking of flying out n picking these up.
Ended up not being able to but he called me back later that evening and told me that every month they have some sort of deal or sale and it just so happened that this month was $10 Shipping!
So when the money cleared with pay pal i called them up and got everything ordered and the kit shipped the same day. They emailed me my receipt and tracking number yesterday and the kit will be here tomorrow!
This is how a real company should work it shouldn't matter if they are an aftermarket manufacturer.
Needless to say i will be ordering a kit from them for my car in the near future without hesitation.
