Where can I find a good used engine in Dallas today?

Thanks for all the replies guys. The owner of the van wants a used engine for around $1,500. Some of those places selling reman engines are asking close to $3k. I also called LKQ and all they have is reman engines.

Not sure who you talked to but they are wrong. I'd pay more for a reman though for sure, anything used in stock for that is going to have 150k+ miles.

My brother and I are doing an engine swap on a Econoline Van and I need to find a used 5.4L for it. I'm trying to get the engine today so we can get the van out of our driveway by this weekend.

Anyone know of a good company that I could find an engine at today in the Dallas area?

AER in Carrollton? they're a Ford engine remanufacturer. Friend is a supervisor there.
