If these "suspected illegals" had killed or permanently injured a 10yr old girl walking her dog/getting off a schoolbus, killed a pregnant woman driving a car, or injured/caused the death of a law enforcement officer....everyone would be calling the Trooper a hero and a Patriot. I fail to see the problem with using what means are necessary to stop an illegal NONCITIZEN from possiby endangering many other LEGAL residents. I say good shoot. Play stupid games....win stupid prizes. Two less illegals we don't have to support with our tax money. Should they be found to be LEGAL residents? Play stupid games....win stupid prizes. I never said that they couldnt be sued...i said they cant be sued without permission.

States possess sovereign immunity and are therefore immune from being sued in federal court without their consent.
