    Because you chose to try to split hairs instead of using your fucking head. It's plainly obvious that Police departments have rules regarding the use of deadly force that in almost every circumstance are written about immediate threats, not whether or not someone is suspected of a crime. The fact that they generally were suspected of a crime is irrelevant once they engage an officer in violence. Apparently being a former cop didn't help you remember that one.     Anyone driving like a jackass, endangering the lives of others while fleeing the police and headed towards a foreign country that is potentially carrying a load of drugs should be shot and killed. Especially if they appear to either be terrorists, drug dealers, traffickers or otherwise people that intend to harm Americans.
