IPA's are always the first on my list. Flying dog Snake Dog IPA is fucking amazing..and its 7.1%abv. :-)

I can get a six pack at Midway mart here in Denton for $7.99.

Please do this. You could have a gun cleaning/good beer party. I'd take off work to attend. lol

This is what I've heard from a friend. American guiness doesn't have shit on guiness in Ireland from the tap. This is from a guy who's been to Ireland a few times and is on his fourth plate at the flying saucer. He agrees with me whole-heartedly that guiness here is total shit.
yep, the guiness is a crappy stout. there are far finer examples. Imperial stouts are my preference.

you should try Flying Dog's Raging Bitch then. It's a belgian-style IPA and 8.3% abv. Usually runs me $7.77 at Majestic Liquor.

I don't like Sam Adams but did drop 19.99 on a bottle to give it a try.

I like the sweet and chocolate stouts but here are a few nice Imperial's you should try if you haven't- all US beers.
                    Avery- The Czar 11%
Bear Republic- Big Black Bear Stout 8%
                    North Coast-Old Rasputin 8.9%

I've gotten it a few times. I usually go through a sixer while I'm playing some battlefield, so the 8.3 just destroys my game...and my communication skills. lol

I've tried them. If its a US micro and available in Tx, I've most likely had it lol. Plus I've loaded up on tons of others while in san fran and long island.
