    Man that's just a neighborhood away from me. I need to start paying closer attention to the folks around me. Police have some shit to explain on this one...... kinda hilarious though..... the situation, not the people getting hurt.....

          I did a ride along in college and we answered a guy with a gun call. We were the first to arrive on the scene and there were a bunch of wannabe peanut head gangstas. Cop I was with told me it would be up to me to decide if I got involved but said he'd appreciate it if he was getting his ass handed to him. Anyway it turned out to be a bb gun. This is a little different scenario but I'd like to know what was said as he was jumping out to assist.

              I wouldn't doubt they'd still have the program, but there are many departments (maybe this one did too) that require a ride along to stay in the car regardless of the call or stop.

                Its a per city policy, most in the metro especially the larger ones have a stay in the car policy, while some of the smaller cities and those outside of the metro see the ride along as an asset since they may have limited officers to respond to a call
