Who do you believe, the salesman who always took care of you or his company?
I think it was the rvp going for revenge. My SIL worked for the same company in another branch as an inside sales rep. She quit last month after 11 years with them. She took care of a 10 million dollar customer out of town and they slowly started taking things away like a company car, then they took her mileage pay away then told her she could drive from keller to west dallas to get a warehouse truck to drive to the customers site lol. So she asked them to just pay her mileage once a week to Abilene, they said no so she said if she left that customer would follow her, they said no so she quit and they lost that account. So it sounds like they went after him for revenge.

it sounds like a revenge deal. Very chilldish if that is the case, the "if we cant have you nobody else can either" mentality.

Id be pissed, especially if it is common practice. Hell it happens with my customers daily. We drop off half an order, and then get the check when the rest is delivered. NOT our SOP or even what is supposed to happen, but it happens non the less.

Or dude got busted with a hooker who was actually a cop.

My business routinely has well over $5000 in merchandise sent to us on a net 30 account.

A lot of our vendors have changed their policies for new customers, but have always maintained the net 30 terms with us because of our long relationship.

Who pays before they receive product!??! Now, if no PO was generated, that might be a little suspicious.....

There has to be documentation. I'm certain if it was legitimately delivered, a PO was generated by the client - either for internal records for procurement or one that was for client issue.

PM his name and dob. If he was arrested by us (FWPD), then he would go to our jail which has a magistrate on site 24/7.

All you have to do is look at history, if this is SOP then this has happened many times with that customer.

Never talk to the police without an attorney present. I would be willing to bet that when they called and asked him to come down and give a statement, had he responded with me and my lawyer can come down on day XX at time YY the "detective" would have said an over the phone statement would work for now.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.
