Currently Texas does not have an inheritance tax, nor estate tax.
But the Fed's have an estate tax, but as the law now stands there is a $5 million exemption.
Also the exemption drops to $1 million after Dec 31, 2012, unless a new law is written or the TRA of 2010 is extended.
