I had a pair of Tony Lamas and they were some of the most uncomfortable boots I've had, ended up giving them away. I wear Araits daily for work and have a pair decent looking ones for going out.

+1 Anderson Bean square toe, roper heel. I can walk around all day in mine without discomfort. 5 years old with some sole still left.

I may have to pick up a pair of those.

Never owned pair of cowboy boots. What's the biggest size you carry them in?

I just looked on Ariat's site and they have a few that come in a 15, which is big enough for me.

EDIT - nevermind, didn't read that someone was offering a hookup.
                        .

Ok... WTF is with all the foo foo colors! lol I went yesterday to Justin's and there is pink purple yellow white green orange etc etc. I was there forever trying to find a pair I liked and fit good. I ended up buying these in 10.5D:

I tried and TRIED to like them. The tall heel proved uncomfortable, and my toes were being smashed up front from the slope of the shank i guess. I was able to return them to Justins and proceeded to look around. I ended up going to the Ariat store and getting these in 9.5EE:

Just as comfortable as my other pair I have. They fit like a glove. Thanks all for the input.

I've got the ramblers in stock up to a 13 IIRC. I carry a couple of pairs in a 15, much bigger than that and you have to go custom made. That rambler has been a REAL popular boot for us. Sort of a cross over if you will. Not country, not biker style...

Since so many of you are into the rambler, I've got at least 2 pair in every size from 8-12 D and EE GTG this weekend at Cavender's in Greenville and I'll get you all fixed up at once!

If they are still making them, I should be able to. One thing you run into with exotic skins, outside of ostrich and caiman, is that they are sometimes hard to come by. Companies will pick up the skins, make some boots, and they float around for a while. I will call Lucchese tomorrow and see what their availability is and the price. What size do you wear?
