Glad to hear it. I know what you went through afterwards wasn't and still isn't easy to deal with, but thats kinda the point to keep people from doing it again.

But look at it this way, in comparison of the worst case scenario of what "could have" happened, you didn't get yourself killed or kill someone else only to sit in a horrible prison for who knows how long as a daily reminder. If you think it's rough now, just imagine living in the pen with the worst sorts of people for something that could have been easily avoided.

I've made some dumb driving decisions in the past, but have been lucky enough to still have a clean record. The closest I've come is blowing a .09 in Plano (where I lived at the time), and was politely asked to drive straight home. Definitely an eye-opening experience.

I dunno where you were going with the "expert" part, but my point was that I'll gladly wait 2 hours for a cab, rather than risk getting breathalyzed. ESPECIALLY on New Year's Eve. Last year I had friends in town, and we got a lincoln town car to the hotel, and a caddy ride home.
