But the best, is grilled cheese and bacon.
I came up with that one! KBR loves to serve grilled cheese, and there is bacon at every meal. One grilled cheese, 8 pieces of bacon, then another grilled cheese on top. Perfection.

Also, Grilled Cheese, and a little piece of ham in the middle.

I will need to know the process here because that sounds gooooood. Just fix it like a plain grilled cheese, but add those to it? (butter both pieces of bread and put it in the frying pan, brown both sides)

Butter the outside, Dijon Mustard on the inside, then shredded cheddar. Grill.

Oh hell no! Pickles are fucking nasty, but I hate anything with vinegar in it. Tomatoes = meh IMO...

Plenty to do if you just use your imagination.

                      Here's one of my fav's:

Get a 3 cheese Miche loaf from Panera (sammich sliced), or substitute Asiago Miche.
                      Butter bread, grill side only.
Slice a few thin strips of green bell pepper and purple onion.
Place smoked cheddar (my fav is Tillamook) on one slice of bread.
Add a thin slice of Virginia Baked ham, or two.
Add 2 thin sliced tomatoes, bell pepper and onion.
Add pinch of garlic salt, Sea Salt and cracked black pepper.
[Optional] I always chop a Habinero and add at this point.
                      Add pepper-jack cheese.
Add other slice of bread and grill.

Variations: Sometimes I'll get the shredded Italian 4 cheese combo cheese sold in plastic tubs. Has Asiago, Parmesan, Romano and one other. I'll substitute this for the pepper-jack.

                      Thank me later.

Grill cheese with pickles and pace salsa inside it.

I don't use butter, I use PAM spray. Spray the pan, lay the bread down until lightly browned, repeat for other side of bread. put cheese slices directly on pan, immediately flip with fingers, press bread on top of cheese and lift up. Throw some fresh bacon and a little jalapeno pepper in the middle and enjoy.

That sounds really tastefull, but that's not a grilled cheese sammich.

If a grilled cheese sandwich has more than just bread and cheese, it's not a grilled cheese sandwich, in much the same way that a BLT with anything other than bacon, lettuce, and tomato (even light mayo) is not a BLT.
