One place I've never been able to get an answer to is at those Chinese Buffet's. I get up, I go get my own food, my own plate, etc. The only thing they bring me is my water/tea. And that's usually when I first arrive. I rarely get a refill. What do y'all usually tip them? Do you usually tip them?

In before the typical DFWM.......I choose to tip 150% because I am a badass and restaurants give me free bottles of wine just for being in their restaurants.

If I go to a place and valet parking is forced on me unkowingly I don't tip. Usually not to be a dick... I just never carry cash on me. If I am going to a place I have been before and I know I have no other option I will try to remember to bring a few extra bucks.

My belief is that most are never "forced" to valet park. There is almost always some place to self park. Almost.

IF there is... then i would not consider it forced valet parking and I would park in the self park area. I have been to a few places that there was no option. All parking for that establishment was blocked off and there was no streetside parking. I guess you could always go park in another establishment's parking lot but most business don't want you using their parking lot unless you are their customer.

I thought servers tipped out to the bartenders regardless of how much they made. They could leave working for free or even paying money to work if they suck. Sounds like a good incentive for them to get a better job or don't suck so bad as a server. Fuck em.
