Its a typical mentality of a lot of women (not all - settle down). They aren't looking for a life they can call their own, they are looking for someone to provide for them. Some women hit the husband lottery and get a successful guy who can fund their lifestyle, then there are others that are lucky to sneak out a beer from the 6 pack before being backhanded into their role.

While I absolutely 100% am against any abuse, if you are a grown adult and CHOOSE to stay in that environment then I have no sympathy. If you CHOOSE to not protect your child from that environment, then I have no words. You've failed as a parent.

I can understand a woman taking abuse to maintain a home for children (wrong, but I can get why they'd do it) - but if the kids are being abused, that's the end of the line. Most of the women I'm close with, would probably kill the man themselves.
