    What year(s)was the best for a 12v?

    I'm not a dodge expert but I kn ow everyone recommends the p-pump years of the 12 valve although there has been some powerful VP44 12 valves recently

          The vp44 was in 24v's. 12v's were all mechanical injection pumps.

              i had a 1996 12 valve as a work truck, damn thing had 312k miles and was a work horse.

                '98, obviously, if you can find one. (Yes, split year, early 12valves, late=24v)

                '97 close second.

                          My '95 12V has been a savage, haven't had a serious issue with it yet but she only has a 130k on it.

                            98 had the most power, best pump, new interior and the crown jewel a 12v quad cab.
