  • cruise to Cozymel

Taking a Carnival cruise down to Cozymel and back here in a few days and was wondering if anyone here has done one of these trips before? This is our first time on a cruise and our first time going to Mexico. Anyone have any useful info that might come in handy?

We'll only be in Cozymel for like 7 hours, so won't have much time to explore and go all over the place. Thinking Paradise Beach would be fun for the kids, or somewhere we can swim and see some fishes and stuff. Any place we should absolutely hit up or stay away from?

You should learn how to spell Cozumel first.

I did some snorkeling there. It's awesome.

go look at the reviews on Trip advisor. That is seriously the best place to learn the little tips and tricks that will make the cruise more enjoyable. And usually there are reviews from people that have gone very recently.

Take a cab to Mr. Sanchos. It's a restaraut/bar on the beach. Lots of stuff for the kids, excellent waters for swimming/snorkeling. Big Drinks and pretty damn good food!

Take a case of water. Empty out the middle bottles and replace with ur favorite clear beverage of choice.

Report back and let us know if it works.

Not unless that was added within the last 1.5 years...

Nah, there is a beachside hut place that has good food and drinks and had one that was on a leash. Ill see if I can find it. 5 years ago we went, and the next year they had a new one casue the old one died. He would take a beer out of your hand, pocket, whatever, and open it and drink it.
