Always thought pumpkin ale was nasty. Kinda like liquid nutmeg or something. Just a weird beer.

Lol. I listed it first because it had the best pumpkin flavor, not very subtle. You might like the dogfish then, it's a good brown ale but the pumpkin is less pronounced.

Pumpkin beer is horrible. I've tried them, but then again
        I don't like flavored beer.

pumpkin beers are awesome. But they're not around that long, so if you wanted to try many you better get on the ball. I like to find good imperial pumpkin ales, but haven't seen many this year.

Brewers are starting to jump the gun pretty early like retail stores when it comes to season stuff this year, it seems. I started seeing pumpkin brews back in August, which was still too hot to even think about buying them. Now that the weather is getting perfect for them, I'm already seeing winter ales from different companies. wtf? it's like they're in a race to get their shit out first lol. Saint Arnold Christmas is already out and it's not even November yet.

Dogfish Head makes the best in my opinion though St Arnold's Pumpkinator is pretty good as well. Good luck finding any of them though.

pumpkinator was a one time deal i'm pretty sure. it came about after everyone liked it when it came out as a Divine Reserve brew.

Picked up a sixer of this from the grocery store last night. Was one of two punkin ales they had. Unfortnately, they didn't have any that was refrigerated so I'll have to wait until tonight to try it out.

Until last night I never tried pumpkin ale, because it just sounds terrible. I grabbed a beer I thought was Blue Moon out of a friends fridge, turned out to be Blue Moon pumpkin. Since I refuse to waste beer I went ahead and drink it. I must say it wasn't half bad.

I really liked the Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin, out of all the beers I tried I liked it the most, the Blue Moon Caramel Apple Spice wasn't too bad either.

For the record, regular blue moon is terrible.
