    Anyone ever get

    The hiccups from steroid pills? I am on my third round formy back. This time to hopefully get rid of some post surgery inflamation. My first two trips down this road were prednisone. I got the hiccups in spells for the first two days of the dose. This time I had the doc prescribe a new one, dexamethasone, same story. I have had the hiccups off and on since lunch yesterday. The worst bout was this morning for about two hours

    Yes. Happened to me after getting a Cortisone shot last fall. It's qualified as a rare side effect, but seems to happen quite often. Lasted about two days following the shot, if I remember correctly.

      My first two rounds were about 2 days as well. This time around it seems a bit more frequent than when I was on the pred. Everyone thought I was crazy when I told them on the first round of pred that the meds were giving me the hiccups
