2 shot, 1 dead in N. Richland

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS – North Richland Hills police are searching for a suspect who shot two people, one fatally, inside a restaurant at 5142 Rufe Snow Dr. Tuesday afternoon.

Speaking from the scene, a police spokesman said the shooting appears to have been “targeted,” but will not specify why. The suspect entered Hunan Wok around 3 p.m. and opened fire, hitting two people, police said. One victim died at the scene. It isn't clear whether the victims are customers or employees.

An employee who answered the phone shortly after dispatchers called for police said “someone walked into the restaurant and shot someone.”

Police have not released a description of the suspect, other than to say he or she is on the loose. This is a developing story, we’ll post more as we learn it.

It's actually pretty good. It's not a shitty buffet. I've been eating there since the 90's when I lived in the NRH area. I live in Ft Worth now days and I will drive over there when I want Chinese food even though there are a few Chinese food places closer to me.

I hope none of the employees got shot, they are always really nice.

Damn I used to work at the Academy around the corner, I was halfway expecting the shooting to be at Sparks. There was always a few shady characters in there, but I was ok with it as long as they kept Ziegen Bock on tap.
