Not exactly, but I would like to separate myself from the societal norm right now. Just ditched my smartphone last week and although I miss it, I think that I'll learn to live without it again. In less than a week it's forced me to actually connect with people and it's been great. Now, I'm trying to get rid of all of the shit that I don't need. Some pieces of furniture, musical equipment, etc...

I'm just tired of having things that aren't required. Then again, I don't have a family that I need to take care of etc, so it's a bit different than most.

But, you want the world to end? Fuck that. Make yourself better than others. Don't hope that they are brought down to whatever level you're on right now. That's selfish as hell.

lol, guys it is not about happiness. Im as happy as anyone. just frustrated at the fact that we went from an awesome society to what we are now. we used to hunt and fish and survive and not worry about jobs and taxes and all the other stuff that has turned us into little worker bees.

I mean, the feeling I get when I bring home dinner from a hunting or fishing trip is amazing! This is all we used to do! we hunted and fished and fucked and smoked out. why did we ever stop doing that?

dont get me wrong, i like science and modern medicine, and indoor plumbing but it seems like we also made our lives really complicated and are adding to it more and more every day.

Damn, You do have a point, I love life but there are times I long for way things used to be. But im old (58)and grew up in the 60's and 70's and to me that was the best time of my life. but I'm Dog Tired Boss, and wish things would just slow down a little.
