      LOL!

Was it the disease, starvation, slavery, brutal warfare with other tribes, forced relocation, or genocide that you miss so much about your time as a Native American?

        white man came
        across the sea
        he brought us pain
        and misery

        he killed our tribes
        he killed our creed
        he took our game
        for his own need

        we fought him hard
        we fought him well
        out on the plains
        we gave him hell

        but when it came
        too much for cree
        oh will we ever
        be set free

They had "freedom" and that's about it. It wasn't all lollipops and blow-jobs. "Hey, chief, a bear ate Running Deer!" "Fuck it. Send another brave out."

Most of us feel like the "hamster on the wheel" at some point in our lives. Life IS what you make of it. No one else can make you happy.
Maybe that is it. those instances of pure joy are far and few. dont get me wrong, they totally make the rest of the time completely worth it.....but they are far and few.

I have found my place in life but with this fucking workers comp bullshit and waiting to get fixed with no end in sight, i am going nuts waiting on starting a new life. I am stuck in "hurry up and wait" mode.

Stop being a fucktard. yes there was disease.....just like today. Yes, some starved......but not the ones that made sure they wouldnt. Warfare is still brutal and with other tribes. You make it out like that is what happened all day every day. most of the time they lived peacefully, survived, and reaped the benefits of it.

If you think they enjoyed more peace and benefits than most modern Americans, you are grossly misinformed.

You're crazy dude. And I realize that's just stating the obvious. I do wish you luck in finding your happy place.

Those are quite the rose colored specs you're looking at history through.

You could just work on the 56 you haven't touched in about 6 years.

Check out "The Last Resort". The last cut on the "B" side of "Hotel California" album, if memory serves.

No they aren't. not even for a second. we all know times were hard back then but we also know we have made our lives hard in a different way these days.

I just need a steady flow of adventure in my life.
There will be a few of you on here that get this and more that dont. I am not content with going to work, coming home, waiting for the next episode of "who gives a fuck" to come on.
