Depending on the amount of work you want to do - Scrap metal, epecially aluminum and short iron. (not cans!)


I have 2 5 gallon buckets that I toss scraps into on a regular basis, for me I'm already doing the work and it's simple money, and around 75$ each time I go. If you put some effort into FINDING scrap metal, it's pretty good money. You just have to know how to cut it up, if at all.. some scraps pay more if it's cut up, depending on what it is.

Yard jobs are 8 hours a day with 2 days off. Can be 9-5 is ur seniority can hold it. I can hold the supplemental board. Pays $1500 a week and there is a 95% chance I will work less than 2 days a month. Some guys have went over 6 months and never worked. Don't make the railroad out to be a bad job. My retirement is 100x better than what u have.
