The guy WAS on drugs, assaulted 2 people, and attempted to eat someones arm.

MOBILE, Ala. – A nude University of South Alabama freshman had taken LSD and assaulted others before he chased the campus police officer who fatally shot him, authorities said Tuesday, though the student wasn't armed.

We'll just agree to disagree then on the subject. Drugs react differently between everyone who uses them. People all have different chemistry and different reactions with drugs. Just because you read some books or studies doesn't mean you can predict everyones reaction to a drug. There have been many cases of people on drugs who feel no pain and have superhuman strength and will do things like break cuffs, or eat people. I think he did the right thing given the volatility of the situation and I pretty much share the same opinion on police as yourself.

We weren't talking about reactions within individuals, we were talking about LSD potency then as opposed to now. The fact is that it was much stronger in the 60s than it is now. You think these people are flipping the fuck out now, I'd like to see what they'd do with some Owsley Stanley level shit.
