Yeah, expandable batons fail all the time! Apparently this cop had plenty of time to play freeze tag with this dude before he killed him, maybe he could have radioed for backup... Since they were apparently outside of a cop shop

The Baton doesn't have to fail, however the force by the baton would on someone high on certain psycho active drugs.

20 years ago? Nobody does pcp in 2012. Maybe some nigs getting wet, but it's not common. If a normal person shot a dude who was unarmed and hadn't actually assaulted them, it would be murder.

There are three guys in my city that do PCP and fight every single time we deal with them. We have cautions on all three houses to send more then one guy. Never had them tested but that is what they say they where on when they decided to fight us.

I will say that I have seen K2 cause some guys to act the same way. One guy had flipped the fuck out and the guy that was with him even handed us the package he got it out of. The guy said it was not mixed with anything. The second time we had dealings with this male he destroyed the entire inside of his grandmothers house.

Who knows what was going on at the college or what he was on.

If this was a big enraged dude, and you have a gun on your hip, do you whip out the pepper spray or tazer hoping they are effective, knowing that if they aren't, you might be overpowered and this dude could grab your gun, or eat your face? And what if you already have your gun drawn when the guy starts charging?

Uh, I don't know about this station, but the only one I am sure about may not have had a single officer there at times. Other times one and less frequently two. If I'm by myself at night with a naked wrestler breathing on windows looking for a fight and then continually chasing an armed officer, he's asking for it. I'd rather not be killed by someone I'm trying not to kill.

The kid was a wrestler at the school...the cop was likely over matched physically and tried to use the gun as a deterrent and ended up having to use it. I see no problem there.

So the cop, evidently alone, sees a person outside hammering on the windows naked. He goes to confront the man and is chased. Let's see, what's normally on a cop belt:

Taser... less than lethal
Baton...less than lethal
Pepper spray...less than lethal
Radio for backup....usually less than lethal
Pistol...lethal.

So, skip everything else and go directly to the pistol because we absolutely know nothing else would have worked and the cop had no ability to reenter the building he just left or radio for backup while he's playing naked tag.

It was stated earlier, if a citizen shot an unarmed, naked man, he goes to jail. A cop does it, he gets a paid vacation and nothing will be done.

The cop had his taser drawn but merely seconds before the guy charged he mentioned something to the sort of "armbar." This sent the cop into instant panic mode and pulled his pistol.

Because unions are leeches on public accounts, taxpayers and businesses. Because a wiseguy muscles his way into a private company and tells the owner that he HAS to deal with the guy instead of the workers or 'else'. That 'else' can be anything from storming out with the workers and blocking the door, to holding hostages and destroying private property.

They serve no purpose and are basically a legal mafia that protects bad workers and sucks companies and taxpayers dry.
