You should complain to Fritz that there's too many TCU people there (he's an alum). He was a guest speaker in one of my business classes and damn near begged us to come back when they were bootstrapping it and getting volunteers to help bottle.

I bet you can do a tour by standing in one spot and turning a circle.
The newspaper article back before he opened it up mentioned it was only 1200 square feet.

It's also back behind the Rowlett police station. I have had their Texas IPA at Razoos and The Track. It had some intense bite.

Buffalo Butt, Rahr Red and Texas Red. It was originally Rahr Red then the H3 Ranch's bar (Booger Reds) approached the brewery to make their Buffalo Butt beer and then they started making Texas Red for the Rangers. You won't see Rahr Red on the shelves any more but Buffalo Butt and Texas Red are intermixed. Some markets buy one and not the other so whatever sells is what you'll see.

It's funny because some people will argue with us still. There are 3 kegs per station, two taps per keg. If you see Buffalo Butt and Red on the same station it's coming from the same keg. Whatever, I just dump it and pour from the other tap to make them happy.

Big Mike is one heck of an entertainer. Whenever he plays the brewery there are 200+ more people that show up. He's also at the Fort Worth Saucer all the time.

We usually have special glasses and nearly every holiday gets a unique one. When they run out we switch back to the Longhorn ones but they usually order enough for a couple of weeks at least.

I seriously doubt you'll get anyone to serve you out of a bomber any more unless you are personal friends with one of the brewers or someone in the family. We've served out of them to move inventory before when something didn't sell as expected but it's rare. Honestly most of the stuff sells pretty darned quick!

He did an old school Metallica tribute last night at Lola's Saloon. At least I think that's where it was, I wish I could have made that.

Sounds like a better time, for sure. Unfortunately I have to bike/dart. I plan on getting flooded. Bring your bikes and we can have a post tour slosh fest at the new Clyde park.

I had a good amount of local brew today at WOB in arlington. 1/2 price drafts from 11-1. only had 5 beers, but they were all above 9% abv. That New Belgium Super IPA is delicious.

I meant to try some of DE's brews, but never got around to it

And hopefully, when I retire from the AF, there will be another brewery in DFW

I rode up to see the facility this past Saturday. Cool owner with a hot asian wife. $10 for free pint glass and 4 beer tickets. They fed us eggrolls and taught us how they make beer. It is a SMALL set-up but a genuine time. They won't open their doors to the public again until December 22. 12-3pm.

Another brewery to note in this thread is Peticolas Brewing Co.

They are going to have some brew called Velvet Hammer that is supposed to rock at their 1st Anniversary/Grand Opening of new facility. There will be a wedding going on too so idk how that's gonna play out unless your into crashing them such as myself.

So far I've tried Deep Ellum's Dallas Blonde, Double Brown Stout, Hop Seeker, IPA, and Rocktoberfest. I think they make pretty good beers. I'm a hophead so the Hop Seeker is my favorite.
