I think you might have to fight a death match with Thehead for that. If I can't drink it I usually share it with him. He's a small guy though, you might be able to take him.

Then you have me to deal with! More over the beer than the girl fight you described.

        Texas Red/Buffalo Butt FTW!!

Maybe at the brewery itself? I'm sure many of you think their beers suck and that one of them taste like fried monkey jizz burnt in an old skillet over a tire fire on the hottest day in june, but I thought it was good.....shit, "it'll get you drunk"
DEB is actually really good and they have a monthly brewery tour. They do bottle their stuff and have it at several stores.

We nearly always will have Pug (black lager), Buffalo Butt (red lager), Blonde (Helles style lager) and Stormcloud (our German style IPA). In addition we still have a few kegs of our fall seasonal Gravel Road which is a German style Altbier.

Additionally on Wednesday we'll generally have something special on tap like a barrel aged Oktoberfest or some non filtered Bucking Bock and on Saturday there is always a decent band playing.

don't forget to mention on the 31st they'll have some special halloween brew on tap and the halloween glasses. THen of course there's the anniversary night on 11/17 with 20 brews on tap.

One thing I've noticed several times is that you can ask for one of the bombers instead of what's on tap and get it. Was able to get Angry Goat and Visionary brew this way.

I miss the Saturdays back in '06, when it wasn't packed at all and you could walk right up and get a beer, and it was free to get in and drink they gave you 4 bottle caps back then, and since my wife didn't drink beer, I'd get 8 beers lol. I miss the movie nights too.

It's just too packed to go there these days on a Sat, and way too many tcu people.and I always work on Wed nights damnit.

I just scanned the thread so I might have missed it if it was mentioned but there's also Firewheel Brewery in Rowlett. I know absolutely nothing about them other than they exist.

One of the guys that used to play at my bar plays there fairly regualarly. His name is Mike Richardson, he's a great musician and I would highly recommend going on a saturday that he's playing.
