i had a guy admit to me that he was part of the AB bike ring thieives that stole my bike... he told me they loaded it in a van with three others from the same night all within that area and they were gone by that night.. he got paid $250 for the deal.. i shoulda been mad but i had a brand new ride at the time and i just laughed it off.. dont meet up with "bike friends" 88% of them are bike thieves!

I just skimmed the thread, a rebuilt title is what you get when you get a formerly salvaged title bike registered for the road again. A salvage title cannot be registered for the road. You get a safety inspection with green sheet as if it's an out of state title then go register it. Then you are issued a rebuilt title.

In mint condition with a clean title that's a ~4k bike to me. If I sold it for $4500 I would be happy.

As a salvage I wouldn't pay more than for $2900 for it under any circumstances no matter how clean it is.

Insurance won't give you much, get that bitch inside your apartment or in a self storage ASAP. Whoever stole that other bike probably saw yours and WILL be back.

I used to do this for a leaving until it became unprofitable.

A dealer sold this 06 for 4K with under 7000 miles.

I don't have the same access I used to so I had to use ebay.
