I'm in the same boat, going on 3 weeks now and my wife is about to start. I did one of the mods and she is doing the same. Already getting a nice collection of juices, tanks and batteries. Checking out that site you referenced.

I like vaporescence in-store, a little pricey though. DFWVapor and Vaporescense have crappy sites - been using altsmoke.com

Havent smoked in 3 years (next month) but still think these smoking bans are excessive. I heard on the news that Arlington has banned smoking at the rangers ballpark too.

No smoking on restaurant patios seems a bit excessive...

So does voluntarily trying to give yourself cancer.

I've never been a smoker, but is it really so addicting that it's impossible for people to go a night without it, after presumably lighting up right before and right after leaving a place?

Generally speaking, people that smoke like smoking. You've never been a smoker, so it is pointless trying to explain it to you.

                First, I smoke.

Second, when I go out I want to relax and enjoy myself. This includes smoking. I enjoyed sitting inside smoking and drinking. I am consistently forced to go without smoking for a long time (24 hours to a week), so it's not that I can't. But if I'm paying to be somewhere, I'd prefer to have what I want there.

The excessiveness comes from the government intervention where they have absolutely no place intervening. Let the damn business decide, government should have other things to worry about. Smoking was first, now you see places trying to ban large drinks and unhealthy foods.

I'm reminded of a story in a documentary I once watched about Nazi Germany. A restaurant owner spoke of a government official coming into his establishment and informing that he was being shut down because his square tables where to dangerous and that he must replace them with round tables if he wanted to reopen, so customers wouldn't be able to hurt themselves on the edges. The owner couldn't afford the new "safer" tables and had to close his business permanently.

Addicts are addicts. Nothing is more important than their next fix.

It's true. Tell a smoker they can't have one for a few hours and they go into panic mode. Planes, bars, movies, whatever... If they weren't physically and psychologically dependent on them, it wouldn't mater.

I don't smoke, but I do support a man's right to allow smoking in HIS own business. A government ban on farting will be next. It is release of methane gas into the air.
