Getting to Addison

Coming from Forney tomorrow and have to be in at 10am. What is the best way? How bad is 635 after 9am? I can't leave Forney till 9, this is why I am asking.

You are gonna be pushing it, but your best bet is to take broadway all the way as it turns into beltine and goes into Addison.

I used to live north of terrell and wold take that route into my job at tollway/beltline. I was leaving at 6am, and it was 45m to an hour. Traffic is going to be your biggest challenge, but the lights are actually pretty decent.

635 is going to be a parking lot around centerville and nw hwy. with the construction at preston, its even more screwed.

Those are the two routes I am trying to choose from. If there is no traffic on 635, thats what I would take, but I just know 635 sucks in the mornings. I just don't know when it starts to clear up.

I have never really had an issue with 635 after 8am.

I avoid 635 like the plague, 24 hours a day. If you have another route, take it. Traffic is completely fucked with all the construction.

I have to say, the most fucked up contruction I have seen was 114 and 121. I drove through that clusterfuck today and can't see how people get through it everyday.

114/121 usually isn't that bad in my experience. 121/183/820 and 635 are the worst. I'm all over the place, all day every day.

I learned a few months into the heavy construction areas of 141/121/183 and 635 traffic area that none of them are safe.

There is so much construction now they can have roads blocked off at all times of the day or night. When I went to a few of the HH's in Addison a few months ago I would leave pretty late 1am ish taking 635 back home. On a few separate occasions (different days too) they had certain parts near the airport shutdown. It literally came to a dead stop and I think I sat in traffic (under 10 mph) for almost 45 minutes.

This has happened to be on 35, 121, and 820 too, maybe not nearly as long but asking for suggestions on traffic with the current state of construction is like flipping a coin. It has also happened a few times during the day. I don't commute to work anymore (work from home) but I wouldn't chance it.

I would leave as early as possible.

I'm sure you hit 635 going north to west from there will be ok until you pass 75 then it might back up but wont be too crazy.

It seems like every time I want to go to Mansfield or Euless for softball, 121/114/635 north of the airport is a parking lot.
