so i got this email on ebay does it sound like a scam?

I want to purchase this item for my daughter as her birthday gift and I want you to please help me send the item to her as soon as you can.I will be paying you with PayPal and will be responsible for the shipping fee.Kindly get back to me now with your final asking price into my private email address at carrutherssharon30 at yahoo dot com because I hardly check my ebay account due to the nature/schedule of my Job.I will be waiting to hear from you soon.Thanks

i did get the email and hate scammers. i guess this guys angle is keeping the transaction outside ebay so he can fuck me over
