How long have you been with your city and are you happy with it ? I took a pay cut but my time away from the house is cut in half.

About 7 years now. I like the steady check and all the days off our retirement is fairly decent insurance is ok at best but still better than nothing.

I primarily work on police vehicles (besides motorcycles) and electrical work which I enjoy. Police cars can be a pain as can their operators but it has perks by knowing most of the higher ups.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

                        Lies to the owner
And his name is Tomas paver III
He is with out a doubt the worst service writer / manager I have ever crossed paths with . The down side is the owner buys the shit he says after he googles " top ten bible and religion questions " !!!!! He tells the owner " please mentor me so I can be more responsible like you " and the thing that kills me is the owner eats it up and tells us he is saving him !!!!! Fuck that!!! I'm loading my box at 9 am and never looking back . I would recommend Christian brothers as a employer as a whole based on values and mind set but pick the owner / franchise carefully .

Suck it up and adjust to the pay and you'll be happier than ever. The benefits are worth the loss in pay and the extra time off gives you time to make more money and have more you time.
