It's always interesting to listen to someone talk about how great electric cars are and then remind them it's pretty much a steam engine. You aren't refueling it quickly, it has a very finite distance, the cost of replacing the batteries is roughly half the cost of a new car and getting that electricity means burning fossil fuels, nuclear power or taking solar cells and dedicating the entire house to recharging your car.

They are crap for efficiency.
