Is it just me, or does it seem like board activity is way down of late? School's back in, it's officially fall, and things are still slow. What gives?

I think a lot of the old timers are focused on family now, and this site has a tendency to push away new members. Is this just the way things will be, or do you think the site will grow?

The newb haters are the death of this forum. No way it's going to grow. It's more of a bull shitting forum then anything else. I do still frequently check the forum multiple times a day.

Visits are around the same, posts are down, people just want to view and not post it looks.

That was close to the record day on the old site with 10k members in 2005 before the spambots invaded and skewed the numbers. Which stood for some time. It was only 4 months ago. Looks fine to me.
