  • Please help my girlfriend, her son and I

This is my girlfriends son. We are trying to raise money to get a handicap accessible vehicle. He is just getting too heavy and trying to get him in the back seat of my Acura 2 door is hard. Please check out this site and let me know if anyone can help please.

    Thank you Bryan

Stupid question. Why don't you put your girlfriend in the back and him in the passenger seat up front?

Not really. Fundraising takes time and during that time, it's an appropriate bandaid for the situation

Putting him in the front seat with his size and lack of muscle control isn't a safe option, in the least.

....and you may get a better response if you post pics of the girlfriend's tits in NSFW....just sayin'.

Have you tried organizing a fund raiser offline like a garage sale? A lot of people may not donate money, but may be willing to donate goods that can be sold or auctioned off...
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

Ill donate some. You might want to check with your local Masonic lodge. Those guys will usually go above and beyond to help in situations like that. I also think that there are various government programs to help with the conversion or purchase another vehicle thats handicapped accessible. Try emailing/caliing these guys and see what they say the options are.
Whether you are in the market for buying or renting a wheelchair accessible vehicle, certified pre-owned or mobility equipment, we offer a large selection.

Winner. Not to be a prick, but how do we know this isn't a scam? Start a thread saying give to me and I only have 10 posts???

Edit, and I did donate, so I'm not a total douche!

We are trying to work with advanced mobility right now. The are just so expensive. I will try to contact the other site. Thanks for you help. Tha means a lot. We are trying raise as much as we can to put that down as a down payment. Handicap stuff is SO much more expensive than anything else.
