Mythbusters has been wrong before. I'll look for that episode. I've worked with a FAA DER who has been testing electromagnetic interference on flight controls for 12 years, since the FAA started requiring it for FADEC (full authority digital engine control) equipped rotorcraft. He says he's never seen any effect either, but that doesn't stop him, or the FAA from looking.
Edit: I should clarify, he doesn't look necessarily for interference from mobile phones or the bandwidths mobile phones operate on, but all devices across the full EM spectrum that could cause interference in engine controls or communications.
