    Fuck all of that shit!!

I'm pretty positive I would wind up pulling off some really random acts of violence if I ever had one.

It only took one of these for me to change my diet (stopped drinking sodas altogether...after drinking a lot of them for 15 years) It was a terrible experience.

Apparently most people's random act of violence is curling up in a ball and screaming like a girl.

I have never had one. TG.

I am pretty sure violence would not be possible during this process....at least it wasn't for me, it turns you into a big 'ol puss pretty quick.

I had one experience of kidney stones about 10 years ago. From the time I walked up to the restroom at work until the time the pain was unbearable was about 2-3 minutes. I drove myself to the ER and could not even stand up straight. My tee shirt was literally soaking wet, no lie! After I had the x-ray/die routine, the doctor said he had good news and bad news: The good news was it was a kidney stone. The bad news was it was up in the kidney and had just started its way down! It passed in about a week.

Thank goodness for the pain killers! I now know what a good drug feels like, as when I had to take two of the pain killers at the start, the ceiling was rotating around in a circle and I felt like I was floating!

I remember someone at the hospital saying, "Drink plenty of water from now on!"

I think that a chick posting about rocks falling out of her pussy is just TMI for my taste.

Sodas can cause kidney stones? Good information to know, and I'm also glad I quit drinking them (albeit for other reasons) for good last winter.

This is what I was told, so I now drink mostly water. This happened 6 years ago. In a way, I am okay with it happening cause it forced me to change a few things that needed to be changed while I was still relatively young.

I think it's mainly dark sodas but any caffeinated drink can act as a diuretic and aid in the formation of stones. :/

You could try that but, you can't fucking move from the pain. I am lucky as I have only had 1 and it took 33 years to hit. My dad and sister has had them. The little thing brought my big ass to my knees and took me out for a week.

I've always drank a lot of water so that has no doubt helped. Still do caffeinated drinks (black coffee and green tea) probably to excess though.

Green and white tea are far better than black tea fwiw

That's the thing. When I feel like a big pussy, I turn into a raging asshole. It's a coping mechanism.

The only caveat is when I'm spewing from both ends. So far, only once did I get in a fight when that sick. I'm pretty sure the projectile vomiting was enough to distract the fellah from the right jab to the nose. The followup of the kick to the face brought about the hershey squirts. Lucky for me, he was done. I proceeded to puke and defecate myself back to the house where I promptly took a shower.

Now I'm old. Who knows how I'd react to such pain.

It's not something you can really handle.. My best way of describing it would be getting stabbed repeatedly in the kidney by an ice pick while simultaneously having someone squeeze the family jewels as hard as they can. Unrelenting pain.
