Yes,I have a Craigslist ad but its 3 fucking AM, go fuck yourself.
Never had the late call problem, but I put no calls/texts after 9pm or before 7am. I've never had a serious email buyer, they all call or text a question.

set up a gmail acct simply for CL. then put in the ad "put kool-aid" or something in the title, so spam bots wont get you.. the worst are the "my husband is out of town, would you go to this website for me and check for auto insurance quotes?"

never post your number or email

always put something in your ad like "please put '1984 Delorean' in the subject line of your email or I WILL NOT REPLY

and stick to your guns. you will never get spammed again

I have a GoKart on Craigslist and I have a SCAMMER who is even texting me and emailing of coarse.
Every possible sign of a scammer and they are still trying to scam me.
              WTF

              Here is his email. Lol
              Hello Edward,
Thanks for the details. I would like to inform you that the deal is
still on, the payment is being sent via the courier service and the
item will be picked up as soon as you received the payment, and get
Payment cashed. Then I will instruct the shipper to get in contact
with you for the pickup schedule time and date. I will like to tell
you that* you would be receiving an overdraft amount of payment to
cover the shipment of the items bought and other items that am
purchasing for I might not be on hand when the payment arrives as I
might still be in camp. So as soon as you receive the check have it
cashed and remove your money for the item and send the remaining
funds to the shipper via Western Union money transfer.

My shipper is also picking some of other items at the same city of
ours, hence you need to transfer the remaining amount of $ to the
shipper when you have receive the payment. You will have to deduct $50
for your running around that I have caused you during the transaction
period. Please let me know if I can trust you on this so we can move
forward from here and email you the tracking number of the payment
              soonest.

              Thanks for your understanding,
              Howard.

                    This.

Most people spell it out with a mix of numbers. That helps.

                    Something like

555- five five five- 5 four 2 three

I did that. Most of the generic scamers have been emialing reply, but the others are texting me. It has to be real people initiating the text/emails.
