I had a classmate go into seizures last year. I kept him from collapsing but the holding down thing to keep them from injuring others? I broke his arm. I felt bad about it but he thanked me for being the only one in the class to actually do something. Don't hold them down. Bones get broken.

My brother however, was nailing his current wife and she went into a seizure. He thought he had done the right thing and called me to brag. I told him to hang up and call an ambulance. This is also the same one that later on thought her seizures were a sign of demon possession and tried to exorcise her

This, don't ever restrain the seizure pt unless they are causing serious harm to themselves, which is not likely.

Turn them on their side and just hope they keep breathing and wait for EMS. Protecting their airway is the best thing you can do with no training/resources
