  • Anyone work at enterprise?

My aunt passed away yesterday and the service is going to be in Kansas. I'm looking for the most cost effective way to get there and back. I don't trust my truck to make the trip. Enterprise is the only local car rental place. They offer unlimited travel to Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. My question is, How would they know if I go to Kansas? It is about 650 miles both ways.

The cheapest I can find flights to get me anywhere close to where I need to be are about $180

I took my rental to south padre and Galveston when I had it. Even though it was thru insurance they didn't say anything when I brought it back with more than 3500 extra miles

Their statement is unlimited miles as long as you stay in an adjoining state. My question is, will they ever know I went to BFE Kansas.

Its times like these, I wish I had a plane and pilots license

Enterprise and Hertz both have GPS tracking systems on them.

Sometimes, all ya gotta do is ask and a manager can waive any fees if they feel the reason is valid.

Tell them what your using it for.

Just like hotels/motels some give discounts for hospital or deaths.

I will have to go by and see what they can do once everything is finalized. She is being cremated, so I'm not sure when the service will be yet.

I forgot to check hays. I've got friends and family in that area, some of which will be attending services. My mom is in Dorrance and stays in Oakley a lot. So I wouldn't even need to rent a car.

Looks like flights into hays are just over $400 round trip. WAY out of budget.

they will not know if you take it to Kansas- unless you get into an accident.

Also, negotiate the rate, all their rates are negotiable. Offer to pay DW or PAI and they will soon make sure you are satisfied with your rate.

yea, its how they get promoted, get bonuses, etc.

                              Damage Waiver
                              Personal something injury

Like their internal insurance. Say a car was $29.99. If you paid $8 for DW, id give you the car for $11, add the $8, I get my credit, and you get your car for $19 so it's a win-win.
