You know, it sounds bad by the title. But honestly, if you have a cop pointing a gun at you, and you choose not to do what he says. You more than likely will be shot. Arms or not. I'm just sayin........do what the fuck you are told when a gun is pointing at you.

The man was mentally ill. Reason doesn't work in this situation.

Jyro is really reaching on this one. There is no scenario that justifies this killing. None. The man was not a threat. You can stretch it to appear that he was but it's just not the case. Tip the wheelchair over, baby threat neutralized. Cops need a reality check.

You don't know the guys weight, I bet even you wouldn't bend over to grab a wheelchair frame with some guy trying to stab you with a unknown object.
if the cop was aganst a wall, any motion he made to grab the chair would put him closer to the unknown weapon.
His good leg can move the wheelchair too.

Isn't deadly force only justified to combat deadly force? Being that the guy was in a monitored care facility, isn't it logical to surmize that the guy didn't have access to anything "deadlier" than some sort of sharpened object? Certainly not a gun anyway.

In this case risking a fatal tazer to the chest area shows exponentially more judgement than shooting the guy. I hope the cop is indeed fired, and gets manslaughter/murder charges brought against him.
